What Maryland deductions, credits, and other situations does FileYourStateTaxes not support this year?
Currently, the tool does not support:

- Pension exclusion (if you are under 65 and are claiming this based on a permanent disability for the first time)
- Ranger pension exclusion
- Subtractions on Form 502SU and not listed here, including:
- Classroom supplies for K-12 teachers
- Union dues
- Amount of pickup contributions shown on Form 1099R
- Contributions to Maryland College Investment Plan
- Payments from a pension system to firemen and policemen for job-related injuries or disabilities
- Expenses up to $5,000 incurred by a blind person for a reader, or up to $1,000 incurred by an employer for a reader for a blind employee
- ABLE account contributions
- Adoption of a child
- Unreimbursed vehicle travel expenses
- Amount of student loan indebtedness discharged
- And many other less common subtractions (for example, a subtraction for the value of any medical given by the International Olympic Committee)

- Maryland Earned Income Tax Credit (if you did not claim the federal Earned Income Tax Credit)
- Other credits listed on Form 502CR and not listed here), including,
- Maryland Child Tax Credit (if claimed based on disability of the child over the age of 5)
- Student loan debt relief tax credit
- Quality Teacher Incentive Credit
- Long-term care insurance credit
- Independent living tax credit
- Venison Donation Tax Credit
- Preceptors in Areas with Health Care Workforce Shortages Tax Credit
- Endow Maryland Tax Credit
- And less common credits, like Credit for Preservation and Conservation Easements
